Privacy policy

Guiding principle
This page describes what happens when you use the evotonomia.be website (contact form, hosting). The Evotonomia mobile app, which runs entirely offline and transmits no data to the editor, is covered by a separate policy: see 'App privacy'. On the site as in the app, the principle remains strict: no third-party analytics, no ad trackers, no identity providers.
Mobile app
The app creates no user account. Child profiles, missions, progress tracking, the parent password (hashed with bcrypt), language and all settings are stored locally in the app and never leave the device. Uninstalling the app removes all data.
Site contact form
The site's contact form collects your name, email address, profession, optional organisation, and message. These details are delivered by email to the editor through the Resend service (resend.com), which acts as a technical sub-processor for message routing. They are not stored in a database and are not used for marketing. Legal basis: consent (GDPR, art. 6.1.a). As Resend Inc. is established in the United States, this transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission (implementing decision 2021/914).
Retention period
Emails from the form are kept in the editor's mailbox for at most 24 months from receipt, then deleted, unless you explicitly ask to remain in contact beyond.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your data. To exercise these rights, write to the contact address below. You may also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD, dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies and trackers
This site uses no audience-measurement cookie, no advertising cookie, and no third-party cookie. Only strictly technical cookies, required for internationalisation and navigation, may be used.
