Privacy policy for the Evotonomia+ app

About this policy
This policy applies only to the Evotonomia+ mobile app (identifier be.evotonomia.plus), distributed through Google Play and the App Store. It runs entirely offline and collects no personal data. Use of the evotonomia.be website (in particular the contact form, whose content is routed by email through Resend) is covered by a separate policy: see 'Privacy policy'. Evotonomia+ is intended for adults: it helps neurodivergent people organise their daily lives and support their executive functions.
Data controller
The Evotonomia+ app is published on an individual basis by Pierre Guillaume, a private individual (the editor operates neither as a company nor as a non-profit), residing at 148 rue Henri Lecocq, 5000 Namur, Belgium. Intended audience
Evotonomia+ is an everyday-organisation tool for neurodivergent adults: attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), specific learning disorders, or people living with cognitive after-effects. It can be used independently or with the support of a professional (care, education, social work) or a carer. The app has been designed in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018. It is not aimed at children and does not fall under Google Play's 'Designed for Families' programme or Apple's App Store 'Kids' category.
No data collection
The editor collects no personal data through the app. Concretely, Evotonomia+ creates no user account, makes no network connection to function, integrates no analytics tool (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.), no advertising SDK, no third-party identity provider, and transmits no information to any server operated by the editor or a partner.
Data stored on the device
All information entered in the app is stored locally, in a SQLite database located in the app's private storage area on the device. This includes: profiles, missions and their steps, the weekly plan, the budget (income, expenses and categories), notes, mood and energy tracking, reminders (including the label and time of medications and appointments), the points and rewards system when enabled, the language and all settings. This data never leaves the user's device.
Sensitive and health-related information
Some information you enter may relate to health or private life, for example medication reminders or daily mood and energy tracking. This information is processed exclusively on the device, locally. It is never transmitted to the editor, a sub-processor, an advertiser or any third party, and is not used for any analytics, advertising or profiling purpose.
Permissions and notifications
For reminders (medications, appointments), the app uses local notifications: they are scheduled and displayed directly by the device, even when the app is closed, with no data sent. On Android 13 and later, as on iOS, you can accept or decline these notifications, and disable them at any time in the system settings. Apart from notifications, the app requests no sensitive permission: no access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, phone or sensors. Alert sounds are simple audio playback (no recording: the microphone permission is explicitly blocked), and haptics serve as alert vibrations. File access only occurs when you yourself start a backup, a share or a PDF export.
Backup, export and sharing
The app lets you export and import your data, as well as export the weekly plan as a PDF. Export produces a file that you keep or share as you wish (Files, email, etc.); import restores data from such a file. These operations are strictly manual and local: they pass through no server operated by the editor. Any subsequent sharing of a file to another app is then governed by that app's own terms.
No ads, no third parties
The app contains no advertising, no tracker, no pixel and no sharing with third parties. No data is used for commercial, advertising or profiling purposes. The project is not monetised through its users' data. The app has no account and no in-app purchases.
Retention and deletion
Local data is kept for as long as the app remains installed on the device. Uninstalling immediately and permanently deletes all associated data. You can also delete a profile and all of its data at any time from within the app. Export and import functions remain strictly manual, local, and pass through no server operated by the editor.
Your rights
The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data. Because no data is transmitted to the editor, these rights are technically satisfied by the direct control you exercise over the data stored in the app: you can view, edit, export, or delete it at any time. For any further question, you can write to the contact address below. You may also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Applicable law
This policy is governed by Belgian law. The applicable rules include the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
