Privacy policy

Guiding principle
This page describes what happens when you use the evotonomia.be website (contact form, hosting). The Evotonomia mobile app, which runs entirely offline and transmits no data to the editor, is covered by a separate policy: see 'App privacy'. On the site as in the app, the principle remains strict: no third-party analytics, no ad trackers, no identity providers.
Mobile app
The app creates no user account. Child profiles, missions, progress tracking, the parent password (hashed with bcrypt), language and all settings are stored locally in the app and never leave the device. Uninstalling the app removes all data.
Site contact form
The site's contact form collects your name, email address, profession, optional organisation, and message. These details are delivered by email to the editor through the OVHcloud mail service (OVH SAS, France), which acts as a technical sub-processor for message routing. They are not stored in a database and are not used for marketing. Legal basis: consent (GDPR, art. 6.1.a). As the site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), the message passes through its servers before being sent. This transfer relies on Vercel's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Retention period
Emails from the form are kept in the editor's mailbox for at most 24 months from receipt, then deleted, unless you explicitly ask to remain in contact beyond.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your data. To exercise these rights, write to the contact address below. You may also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD, dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies and trackers
This site uses no audience-measurement cookie, no advertising cookie, and no third-party cookie. Only strictly technical cookies, required for internationalisation and navigation, may be used.
Outreach to professionals
The editor writes to speech therapists, occupational therapists and neuropsychologists in private practice, at the email address published on their professional website, to introduce Evotonomia. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR, art. 6.1.f). Data processed: name, profession, city and email address. It is deleted within 6 months if there is no reply, or 3 years after the last exchange. Tools used: OVHcloud (email) and Anthropic's Claude (AI assistant, United States). To stop being contacted, reply 'STOP' to any of these messages or write to pierre.guillaume@evotonomia.be. Only your address is then kept, on a suppression list, so that you are not contacted again.
